How do wireless trailer lights work?
iToolMax Wireless trailer lights typically synchronize with vehicle lighting through the following three steps:
- Transmitter Installation:
Plug the transmitter into the tow vehicle's power socket (4-pin / 7-pin / 12-pin connector). The transmitter draws power and light signals from the vehicle. - Wireless Signal Transmission:
The transmitter converts brake light, turn signal, and tail light signals into stable radio frequency (RF) wireless signals, transmitting them in real-time to the trailer. - Reception and Lighting Synchronization:
The magnetic-attachment LED light units on the trailer contain built-in receivers and batteries. Upon receiving the signal, they immediately synchronize to display the corresponding lighting functions without requiring traditional wiring connections.
How to pair wireless trailer lights?
Insert the transmitter from the wireless trailer light kit into your vehicle's 7-pin, 4-pin, or 12-pin socket. Then press and hold the power button until the indicator light flashes rapidly. It is recommended to charge the device beforehand before pairing.
