I was a bit worried about this purchase as it had somewhat mixed reviews on its effectiveness. I have several raised beds that i struggle to mix new soil, manure, etc into well…. because they are raised; sins are 1 1/2’ tall and others are 2 1/2’ tall. a this tiller is light enough for me to lift it into the beds and it doors a great job mixing it all together for me and rigging up the top level so i can plant after it’s sat all winter. I use high quality garden bed soil so it has a good mixture of compost, sand, soil, etc. This tiller also managed to break up the soil i dug up to plant bushes in front of my house….. and helped to level it back out. I was impressed as it didn’t look like it would do much. I love it!
